I feel like I should explain the “Re-introducing” thing. I have never personally introduced Cynthia Corle before, but what I am doing through these before and after photos and the “re-introducing” series is show you the difference between the person who had a self-portrait or snapshot of themselves online contrasted with the professionally photographed version of the same person. To re-introduce them as a professional.
This is Cynthia Corle, as you may have guessed she was my vehicle into this world. She also plays the part of Doula, Grandma to seventeen grandchildren, wife to Daryl Corle (master piano tuner and voice-over artist…headshots to appear shortly), insane used book seller (collector) and all around wonderful woman. She desperately needed a headshot because trusted studies show that people don’t like to hire people who have the default gray “mystery man” as their profile picture. We humans like to see other humans faces for some strange reason, and for stranger reasons we can start to trust somebody purely on their picture alone. This is good for me as a photographer.
The time has never been better to take the driver’s seat in your career and place the proper importance on looking like a rockstar. You will see a large return on a relatively small investment when you go with professional photography in terms of a confidence booster, increased views of LinkedIn profiles, and greater job opportunities, to name a few.
When you change your picture from the one you took at the Cinco de Mayo Boozefest (you know the one I’m talking about…you tried to crop the beer bottle and the girlfriend out of the picture but we weren’t fooled) to the professional version of yourself, people will notice. InstaFessional . (Not to be confused with InstaConfessional, a new app that I hear Catholic Church is working on – confessions from your iPhone, convenient. (Wikipedia says rumors of this app are not true, so don’t waste your time looking for it.)) That was a bit of a rabbit trail, but my point is this – professional headshots make you look great. Book your session today and get InstaFessional on your career…not your iPhone. And book Cynthia Corle for your next baby delivery/postpartum caretaker. She’s the best.
